I had to post this, to celebrate this. I had to pay reverence to the art of this legendary man. Sure, some say he is outlandish… and second to Eminem. I feel you. But none of his stunts, none of the public shows of what some consider ‘out of line’ behavior can replace the intimacy and feeling with which he created this lyrically and emotionally stunning song of love. It’s absurd to even attempt to dismiss the genius in this recording and video.
I am floored. As a love coach, I had listened to the verses in Deuces and passed judgment on these men. How fucked up they are in dealings of relationship. It seemed they were cocky, arrogant and demeaning to the women whom just like them, have issues. I was going to write a post about the song Deuces. But I’m glad I waited. Spirit didn’t lead me to it. Now I see why.
